I'm pleased to announce a new addition to my Just Magic website: the Doll Restoration Wizard. It is modeled after the boring wizards that Windows has for things like installing new hardware, changing a printer cartidge, and things like that. This one walks you through the steps of completely restoring a doll! I've added several new articles for it including Advanced Hair Care, Vinyl Stain Removal, Washing a Cloth Body, and so on. (Special thanks to Joy whose Doll Restoration Imagestation album was the source of many pictures/techniques for these. She is a co-author of several of the articles but, being on vacation, she hasn't had a chance to review the final articles yet.)
Check it out and let me know what you think. The link is right on the homepage of Just Magic.

What a spectacular guide! ^_^ Now I know exactly where to look for all of my doll care questions. (Speaking of which, I just bought some Oxy 10 to remove some ink from Felicity's hand, and the picture was handy to let me know I got the right product.) Thanks for yet another great doll resource.

Thanks everyone, and thanks for the collective wisdom of this board! I actually have a few detailed questions which I'm going to be asking opinions on, like how long do you leave a doll soaking for a Downy dunk? Have you ever just rinsed the hair with Downy? I'm wondering if it's just as effective. Several other ones too but I'll post them as separate threads.
